Alan Cracknell created this beautiful sign for the ‘The Quince Tree’ pub in Oxfordshire. The Quince Tree, which opened this week, is a pub, café and shop selling home-made produce in the heart of the countryside. Alan was briefed to create a sign reflecting a welcoming atmosphere and rural values, which his scrumping bunny rabbit leaping across the countryside certainly does.

New recruit Nick Chaffe has proved to be instantly popular having recently completed eight striking illustrations used in an internal campaign for pharmaceutical company Eviplera. Nick was briefed to convey the life story of various people, through a combination of photography, typography and his inimitable illustration style.

Patrick Knowles – New Artist

We are very excited to welcome typographer Patrick Knowles to the agency. Patrick studied letterform at Central St Martins where he learnt the traditional disciplines of lettering. Patrick has worked extensively as a designer and art director with the UK’s major publishing houses, however his real passion lies in the realms of typography and illustration. Through his design work Patrick has developed a wide range of skills and now translates his pencil sketches through various processes including linocut, woodcut, stone carving, painting, cut paper or scraperboard, 3D models and more recently the Cinema 4D, 3D programme.
